This site is a hobby project, to make available useful interactive web-based maps for the MUD game Aardwolf, located at www.Aardmud.org. I play a Shadow Ranger by the name of Kalixt, next time you're playing look me up and say Hi!

Disclaimer! This site is new as of June 2004, and under constant development, so many areas and maps have not yet been created. Feel free to help out. <g>

Maps are formatted for viewing, not for printing or any other use. Feel free to try and print them if you can or need to. The maps are free to use as long as they are unaltered in reproduction. If you wish to share a map with someone and are in doubt, just link them to the site, or just a map in particular.

The maps are very simple in design, and hopefully easily readable by everyone. Some maps will be wider than your screen, and most are longer, so scrolling around may be required. I think this is easier than using scanned drawings or other GIF/JPG files, as our maps load quickly.  One big advantage our maps have over standard JPG/GIF image maps, while viewing our maps in your browser, you can do an EDIT/FIND for the name of the room you are looking for.

Important Note: These maps are geared for directional use, they are to help you explore and when you get lost, they won't give you all the answers to an area. That would take all the fun out, and there are other websites that have maps that do that.  Remember, these maps are for quick load and easy navigation.

On the navigation bar to the left is the best map to start at, "Midgaard", as well as a link to all the maps we have available.
