Ah yes, the legend of the map....well, you see it was a long,
long time ago before the great war... well, it wasn't really a great war, I mean
as far as wars go it was okay...
Err, sorry... that's the wrong legend. What you want is to
know how to read the maps we have here on this site. So, listed below are the
not so many symbols we used to create our maps and a short explanation.
Please note that all maps are viewed as North is at the top of
your monitor, West to the left, East to the right, and South at the bottom

A point you stand at, a crossroad or junction |

Directionals, they show connections between
rooms, they are not indicative of distance, when you step from room to
room, it's one movement regardless of the length of the directional
connectors. |

One way direction East. No westbound return

return path back the opposite direction. One way up or one way down. |

Gates, houses, temples, offices, inns, stores,
shops, squares, bridges, etc, will be described. These places will be hyperlinked to another map or floor plan (if available) going
inside that place if necessary. |
